If you require funding for the purchase or development of a hotel, SPF’s Real Estate Debt Advisory team can help. Traditional banks can finance both development options and stabilised assets. UK banks prefer to lend on a multiple of Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation, depending on the leverage being sought. Lending options have increased with a number of overseas banks and insurance companies also providing finance for good quality, branded assets. Insurance companies can also provide longer-term financing options.

A fee of up to 1% of the loan amount is payable. For example, if we arrange a loan of £100,000 the fee could be £1,000. The exact fee charged will depend on the amount of work undertaken.
